imdb (1993)

IMDb is one of the largest and most widely used online databases for
movies and television series, offering information such as cast and
crew lists, plot summaries and release dates. Along with a ten star
user rating system that reflects the opinions of general audiences
around the world, making it a good source for film and TV
information, and a good way to keep track of your own ratings.

rottentomatoes (1998)

Rotten Tomatoes is a review website that collects and categorizes
professional critic reviews and also an audience score in form of
percentage. The critic review scores are referred to as the
Tomatometer, and the audience reviews are referred to as a Popcornmeter.
It is widely used for quickly assessing how well a movie or show has
been received by both critics and viewers.

letterboxd (2011)

Letterboxd is a more social rating platform, designed for movie lovers
to track, rate, and review films, allowing users to log what they
watch, giving ratings on a five star scale. Users can write reviews (a
trait often used in a humorous way), create custom lists, and follow
other members, which has helped it build a strong community driven
culture. It helps people with film discovery, cataloging their personal
taste, and the opportunity for discussion.
